Giclee print – Watercolour with a little pastel. 27 inches by 9 inches. — “This was painted in Spring 2006 early in the morning on what was to become a hot day. The beach was deserted except for the ubiquitous blackbird after my breakfast. The red Gladioli growing by the seat are called locally “whistling jacks”. They were a flower crop, until they fell out of favour. You still see them coming up in old fields or hedgerows etc” — Giclee prints are produced in-house by Stephen and countersigned by him. They are individually printed on Epson smooth fine art paper with Epson K3 Ultrachrome high quality inks and are very lightfast.
