Giclee print – Original painting Watercolour with some pastel. 27 ¾ inches by 9 ¾ inches. — “Painted over a weekend break on Bryher October 2008, not far from the Hell Bay Hotel (which is not actually on Hell Bay). Droppy Nose is named after the odd shaped rock on the headland. I am looking west towards the Norrard Rocks and the afternoon light. These rocky islands have a threatening fascinating beauty. Further north is Scilly Rock and the infamous Hell Bay where huge Atlantic rollers crash ashore and which was noted for wrecks and rumoured for wreckers.” — Giclee prints are produced in-house by Stephen and countersigned by him. They are individually printed on Epson smooth fine art paper with Epson K3 Ultrachrome high quality inks and are very lightfast
