Giclee print – Original painting Pure watercolour. 27 inches tall by 9 ¾ inches wide. — “This was painted in early summer 2003 and took quite a long time. There is a lot of detail here! I find if I am painting a very detailed picture I have to compensate with something more loose. I remember, at the time, doing one of two seascapes on the other side of the Garrison. The garden is to the right side of the little road leading down towards Newman Pottery. It is looked after very ably by Trish and Roger who live opposite. You can see Tresco and the Abbey in the distance. In the far distance (if you strain your eyes), you can just see the top of Round Island lighthouse”. — Giclee prints are produced in-house by Stephen and countersigned by him. They are individually printed on Epson smooth fine art paper with Epson K3 Ultrachrome high quality inks and are very lightfast.
