Donald’s Agapanthus

SKU: stmo-donalds Categories: ,

Giclee print – Watercolour with some pastel 36 1/2 inches wide x 19 1/2 inches high. – “One of my very large paintings. Painted on sunny afternoons in August 2010. My neighbour Donald May, who lives at Thomas Porth, planted these at the top of the steps to Harry’s Walls. Donald used to farm on the islands and is an excellent gardener. He has cultivated the rough ground near his house by the planting of agapanthus, echiums and tamarisk. There was a visiting sail training vessel in the harbour and you can see across the bay to the islands Samson, Bryher and Tresco.”

‘Donald’s Agapanthus’ is a Grande sized print and is therefore more expensive than my standard giclee prints.
