St Agnes, to gaze out towards the Bishop Rock watching the sunset behind the westen rocks, and waiting for a huge sky of stars to appear, you have a feeling of standing on the very edge of the world, nothing but sea for thousands of miles. St Agnes has everything, but smaller, the beaches are small coves with white sand and crystal clear water. Wingletang Down is covered in huge bolders shaped by the weather, as if thrown by giants. The western side of St Agnes is made up of small rocky bays with sea thrift, wild flowers and the famous St Agnes Maze. The most popular beach is The Bar which links St Agnes to the island of Gugh at all but high tide.

St Agnes is home to the Turks Head Pub, has two cafes, and the evening only High Tide Restaurant. The well stocked Post Office stores and the Bulb Shop for gifts and souvenirs including 28miles soap and Chocolate both made on the island. St Agnes has the only dairy farm on Silly, and their range of ice cream is legendary. There is also a vegetable stall selling whatever is in season, on St Agnes the food is measured in paces rather than miles.

There are plenty of accommodation providers on St Agnes, from Self Cateing and Guest House accommodation, to camping and seasonal Bell tent hire.
